I am Martha Villa Martin, the artist behind the captivating artworks showcased on this site, and I am based in New Westminster, BC, Canada.

My passion for quilling developed when I faced a challenging health situation that required me to engage in quiet activities. Originally drawn to mandala art, I stumbled upon a book at the library, unknowingly discovering quilling. The moment I opened its pages, I fell in love with this intricate art form, instantly knowing it was the path I wanted to pursue.

Since then, I have embarked on numerous experiments, refining my skills and exploring various techniques. While my focus primarily revolves around pet portraits, floral compositions, and earrings, I am continuously seeking new inspirations and opportunities to expand my artistic horizons.

Quilling is a truly time-consuming art, requiring immense dedication from the artist. This aspect adds to its uniqueness and the profound commitment invested in creating each piece of art.
